Tether length guide.

24 inches works for most setups. 30 inches gives you reach. Custom is rare but possible.

Standard is 28 inches

Our pre-tied cords are 28 inches between knots. That length reaches from a typical hitting position to a caddy placed just outside your stance, with enough slack that the tee can launch freely on a strike before the cord snaps it back.

When to go shorter

Tight simulator bays where the caddy sits between your stance and the screen want 22 to 24 inches. Less slack means a faster return, but also a louder snap if you absolutely crush one.

When to go longer

If you want the caddy out of your peripheral vision entirely, go to 36 inches. Useful for video-recorded swings where the caddy in the frame is distracting.

What you cannot do

Do not exceed 48 inches. At that length the tee has enough travel that the cord can wrap around your shaft on the downswing. We have only seen this happen once in testing but once is enough to mention.
