R10 sensor placement
The Garmin R10 sits 8 feet behind the ball, centered with your target line. The ball needs to be on a tee in the sensor's field of view, which is roughly a 60-degree cone in front of the device.
Caddy placement
Set the caddy on your trailing side, outside your stance, with the cord running parallel to the target line. The R10 will not pick up the cord or the caddy.
Tee height per club
- Driver: 1¾"
- Mini, 3-wood: 1"
- Iron, hybrid: ¼"
R10 reads cleanly at all three heights.
